To provide insights into the initial vision for redesigning this kitchen, our foremost objective was to address the outdated design style of this early 80’s home while aligning with the specific needs and preferences of the homeowners. They sought a modernized functionality that harmonized with their individual tastes and facilitated both entertaining and culinary pursuits. Following a thorough examination of various kitchen layouts, it became evident that removing a wall and extending the kitchen into the adjacent dining area presented the most optimal solution. This strategic decision not only enhanced the influx of natural light but also significantly improved the spatial flow and utility of the area by effectively exchanging the positions of the primary kitchen and dining spaces.

We collaborated closely with our clients to realize their vision of a high-end hacienda-style home, complete with modern amenities. Every finish and detail was meticulously handpicked to align perfectly with their preferred aesthetic. Once we settled on a stunning blue vintage-style induction range as the centerpiece, we integrated complementary elements like a vibrant Mexican-inspired backsplash tile and a coordinating island countertop, seamlessly tying the entire look together.

While exploring Marble Express, a favored stone supplier, we encountered the captivating Blue Deep Quartzite and were immediately drawn to its allure. Upon presenting the stone alongside the overall design concept to the clients, they were impressed by its unique lines and texture. Given the presence of a sizable island in the floor plan, we determined it as the ideal location to showcase this exquisite stone. Quartzite was chosen for its inherent durability, natural eye-catching elements, and diverse color palette, all of which aligned seamlessly with the requirements of this specific project.

As with many older homes, significant challenges arose during the remodel process. Issues such as removing walls to enlarge the space, working with varying ceiling heights, and retaining existing brick posed challenges to our design. However, overcoming these hurdles resulted in a deeply rewarding outcome. The ability to harmonize various elements and create a space as beautiful and functional as this underscores our passion for interior design.
